Directions to Mianus River State Park

Directions from the Merritt Parkway
- From the Merritt Parkway, take Exit 33. If traveling South bound: Take first left (on to Bengall) and another left onto Riverbank going South. If coming from the Merritt going north: Take Den road exit to first Stop sign. Turn Right onto Roxbury. At the next Stop sign, take a left onto Riverbank going South.
- Riverbank becomes Westover. Follow Westover a little more than 1.5 miles. Take a right onto Mianus Road.
- Go over a narrow bridge and take a left along the river to go on Valley.
- In about 100 yards, take a right onto Mimosa. Follow Mimosa about half a mile until it ends at a Stop sign.
- Take a Right onto Cognewaugh. Follow Cognewaugh about 1 mile until you see a small dirt parking lot on the right. This is the park's entrance.
Directions from Interstate 95
From Interstate 95, take Exit 5. Take a right on to the Post Road (Route 1), going East.
Go 1 light, about 1/4 mile, and take a left onto Sound Beach Avenue.
Sound Beach ends in about 1/2 mile at a Stop sign. Take a right on to Sheephill Road.
Go about 1/2 mile until Sheephill ends at a Stop sign. Take a left on Palmer Hill. Go over the Bridge and take a left onto Valley.
In about 100 yards, Take a right onto Cognewaugh.
Follow Cognewaugh about 1.5 miles until until you see a small dirt parking lot on the right. This is the park's entrance.
