Devil's Den
Weston, CT

The Nature Conservancy's Lucius Pond Ordway - Devil's Den Preserve - is the largest nature preserve in southwestern Connecticut. It is, therefore, a favorite Road Hog habitat. The preserve comprises 1660 acres with 21 miles of trails. Any trail run usually includes a brief "look-see" at the Great Ledge. Just don't let the heart rate go below 130 bpm.

The main trail is listed as 5.6 miles long. The Den's terrain is very hilly and rocky. The trails are rough. Just ask Greg Cunningham who has sprained his ankle(s) at least three times. Bring trail running shoes if you have them.

You may make donations to the Nature Conservancy, Devil's Den Preserve, P.O. Box 1162, Weston, CT 06883
