Alternative Run - 1/18
Pete's Hike Pete's hike will be in the Hudson highlands (on the other side of the Tappan Zee bridge) - a 45 minute drive from Greenwich. It's great hiking country so close to home. Pete wants to share it with folks who would like to make a good workout out of it. So the tentative plan is to car pool from Greenwich High School at 7.30 am on Saturday January 25th. Hiking will start by 8.30. We will walk at a brisk but enjoyable pace up to a nice high place with beautiful views. Adventurous scrambling will be part of the mix and we'll be heading for home in 2-3 hours. We will return to Greenwich directly or stop at the world famous Nanuet diner for brunch. Weather will --- no doubt --- be a factor and may change the plans. Alternative Run - 1/25
